Saxton 4x4 near Brentwood Essex, *** service!

Having bought a Masserati Quattroprte for just under 30k in Feb (not a cheap second hand car!) you can imagine how suprised I was when the car delevloped some faults as I drove it home. I rang the garage on arrival home, not a problem Kevin, we will sort everything out.... 5 visits later, a month when I only had the car for 5 days and they then returned it with damaged interior. They of course deny any knowledge that they caused the damage, yet they accept they do not have it noted anywhere when they collected the car, (it had broken down again) that the car was anything other than perfect, which it was. Anyway 5 months on, and having returned the car with a complete rejection notice one month after I bought it they still have the car and my money. My solicitors now tell me its a 10k cost for me to take them to court!... I will of course end up having to give in. Just wanted everyone out there to know, Saxton4x4 have great sales people, and properly some great cars, but they ARE JUST *** at looking after you once they have taken your money. Its a 'tough ***' message and they know unless you or I are prepare to spend great sums of money suing them, they will get away with it every time. If you are thinking of buying a car from them or have just bought one that is giving you problems, get everything in down writing, that they say and promise to do, don't rely on phone calls and promises and don't believe they have anything other than their interests in mind at any time. The buyer is just fodder.
